#VIASWEATLOOK | Autumn/Winter Lookbook
I love chilly weather for the way you can get creative mixing and matching your look and experimenting with layering. I usually go for morning workouts after dropping my daughter off at school and before heading into the office. Morning workouts not only pump me up for the day but after every workout, I know I’ve accomplished something already so it really helps set the tone for the rest of the day.
Here are some of my go-to looks in the winter that keep me looking polished enough to go into work, run errands, and kick ass for the rest of the day!
Leggings are a necessity and as you’ll soon see, a staple in my everyday look. Here, I’ve paired the VIASWEAT Hera leggings with a crop hoodie to really elongate the legs and an oversized bomber jacket because it was probably a Monday and Mondays are comfort over everything.
This mini backpack from TopShop is like my go-to bag this winter. It’s simple and chic but holds a ton of stuff (and when I say a ton, I mean like diapers, wet naps, a bib, a sippy cup and Liv’s on-the-go eating gear). This time, I paired the leggings with a lace-up sweater which is very trendy this season, and some retro sunglasses to tie the look together!
Am I lazy for always wearing leggings? Nahhh! This look was a little mix-y match-y and put together some pieces you wouldn’t normally suspect. An ongoing theme here is pairing leggings with crop or shorter tops which really make your legs look longer and just a nicer body ratio. This time, I wore a structured coat and a baseball cap for days you know a ponytail just won’t cut it.
This look is fundamentally really simple but I think it’s the details and accessories that tie it all together. For the top, I’m wearing the VIASWEAT Glory sweatshirt paired with their Ren leggings in silver. Silver headphones match the leggings (and help me get through commute). Keep your head warm in a beanie, eyes protected with aviators and throw everything else in a big leather tote!
Ok fine, this look is kinda of cheating because the top and the bottoms match to begin with but I just love this look! Top and leggings both by VIASWEAT and I finished off this outfit with a denim jacket, tan leather tote and rose coloured sunglasses, which are really in!
This is my #girlboss look for when I need to make a statement but I also need to go to the gym. A mock turtleneck and leather jacket puts this look together so well, you can’t even tell I was logging in a sweat session half an hour prior!
